Final phase of minority counselling from Oct. 7

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The second phase of online decentralised counselling for admissions into Engineering, Pharmacy, MBA and MCA courses in Muslim, Christian, Sikh and Marathi minority professional colleges will be held from October 7 to 10 at Hyderabad, Kadapa and Visakhapatnam.

The second phase was necessitated as students obtained admissions under the BC-E category and also because some new colleges have been added, increasing the number of seats. Admissions under the tuition fee waiver scheme will also be made simultaneously in engineering and pharmacy courses during the counselling. This will be the final phase of counselling of all religious and linguistic minority students.

The venue for the Hyderabad centre will be the A.P. Veterinary Association Hall at Shantinagar, a press release from the Federation of A.P. Minority Educational Institutions said. For more details, call the federation on 040-2322 8760.
