Water level up in reservoirs
Thiruvananthapuram: The water level in the major reservoirs in the State has increased. According to the figures released by the Central Water Commission for the week ending September 25, at Idukki the level increased from 2400.02 ft. to 2400.92 ft., at Idamalayar from 554.07 ft. to 554.75 ft. and at Kallada from 377.40 to 379.99 ft.
When compared to the level recorded during the same period last year, Kallada, Idukki and Idamalayar reservoirs showed an increase of 05.97 ft., to 32.96 ft., and 07.83 ft., respectively.
