M.N. Vijayan cremated

Kodungallur: The body of M. N. Vijayan, writer, orator and Marxist thinker, was cremated with full State honours here on Thursday.

Prof. Vijayan died at a private hospital in Thrissur on Wednesday. He was admitted to the hospital after he collapsed while addressing a press conference at the Thrissur Press Club.

Hundreds of people visited ‘Karuna’, Prof. Vijayan’s residence, to pay their last respects to the writer.
