Naidu arrives to a thunderous welcome

MADAKASIRA (ANANTAPUR DT.): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu who is here on a two-day visit to Anantapur district received a roaring response from the crowds gathered here on Thursday.

Speaking at different places en route Mr. Naidu urged the masses to bless him and his party in the coming days and he promised uplift of every needy section if he was given another opportunity to serve them as the chief minister.

He promised Rs. 1,000 monthly unemployment allowance to the educated unemployed youth, if TDP was voted to power in the next elections.

Further, he also stated that all cooperative crop loans would be waived and the farmers would be given loans with 25 paise interest rate.

Terming the Congress Government as the most corrupt he asked people to question the Government why it had been neglecting the welfare of poor.
