Farm scientists visit DAATTC

VIZIANAGARAM: A team of agriculture scientists from across the nation visited the District Agriculture Advisory and Transfer of Technology Centre (DAATTC) at Gajularega here on Thursday. Earlier, they visited field demonstration plots on which the newly developed VR 762 ragi variety was raised in Makkuva and Kothavalasa mandals. The team members -- Narendra Kumar, Krisahnappa, A.K. Jain and a few others, were informed by Senior Scientist N.D.R.K. Sarma of DAATTC said that the centre had developed the millet variety.
