Governor’s wife hospitalised

Bangalore: Narmada Thakur, wife of Governor Rameshwar Thakur, was hospitalised here on Wednesday following complaints of uneasiness and chest pain.

Ms. Thakur was taken to the Wockhardt Hospital on Bannerghatta Road around 11.30 p.m. and was made to undergo a series of tests. She would be kept under observation till Friday, hospital authorities informed.

According to the hospital management, the Governor’s wife appeared to be “quite well now.” Ms. Thakur underwent a comprehensive check-up. She is being attended by Ranganath Nayak, cardiologist, and Ravi Mehta, head of Chest Medicine at the hospital.
