A youngster hanged himself to death at his house at Langer Houz on Wednesday. The police said Rudvik Reddy (17) killed himself in a depression after his family members allegedly asked him to pursue an engineering course instead of National Defence Academy in which he got a seat.
Elderly man killed
An elderly man was killed after he was run over by the Rajdhani Express at Lingampally railway station on Wednesday.
S. Koteswara Rao (60), a native of Krishna district, was crossing the tracks when the accident occurred, according to the police.
Housewife commits suicide
A housewife committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house at Kuntluru village in Hayathnagar mandal on Wednesday. G. Kotamma (26) took the drastic step due to alleged harassment by her husband, Yellaiah, over trivial issues, the police said.
