Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: In yet another shocking case of road rage, a young man was allegedly thrown off a moving blue line bus by its staff at Defence Colony here.

Conductor

The police received a call around 9 p.m. on Thursday saying that a young man had been pushed off the bus by its conductor near South Extension following an altercation between the victim and the staff over buying of a ticket.

According to the caller, who is yet to be traced, the victim was beaten up by the staff before being pushed off the bus plying between R K Puram and Anaad Vihar.

Police reached the spot and detained the bus driver for interrogation. The conductor, however, is absconding after the incident.

The driver has reportedly confirmed the incident. But he denied that the young man was thrown off the bus.

He is believed to have told the police that the victim accidentally fell off the bus during the scuffle.

Till late at night the police are still looking for the victim who is believed to have left in a auto after the incident.

The police are searching for him in nearby private clinics.

Doctor

The incident comes just a day after a doctor and his wife were brutally beaten up by the driver of a mini bus.
