KOCHI: Kerala Congress (M) leader K.M. Mani has said the stance taken by the Additional Advocate-General on a writ petition filed by Xavy Mano Mathew and the Indian Space Research Organisation in the High Court against an order directing them to vacate Merchiston Estate seeks to favour the petitioners. Addressing the media here on Friday, Mr. Mani said this should be treated as a serious instance of dereliction of duty. The Additional Advocate-General is a representative of the government and his stance is often official. Going by the view, it should be assumed that the government, the Additional Advocate-General and Mr. Mathew were helping one another, the Kerala Congress leader said.
