BEL posts win

BANGALORE: BEL scored its second successive win defeating Oriental 3-1 in a super division football league match at the Football Stadium here on Friday.

Arvind got BEL’s first goal in the injury time of the first half before Stephen netted a brace of goals to give it a healthy cushion.

But it was Venu of Oriental who slotted home the first goal of the match in the 22nd minute.

Earlier in an ‘A’ division match, Kewal scored a hat-trick in AGORC’s 3-3 draw against Reserve Bank.

Kewal struck in the 28th, 40th and 78th minutes, while Rajan Wilfy (fifth), Roshan (60th) and Santosh Kumar (70th) got the goals for the bankmen.
