Asian team chess in Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: the 15th men’s and the ninth women’s Asian team chess championship will be held here from January 2 to 10, 2008, organisers announced here on Friday.

The championship would be played in the Swiss system of nine rounds on the Olympiad model.

Each men’s team will have four players and a reserve player and in the case of women’s team, it is three main players and one reserve player. — Special Correspondent
