PUDUKOTTAI: A bus belonging to the Pudukottai division of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation was attached by staff of the Fast Track Court on Thursday for not disbursing the compensation ordered to the family of a road accident victim.
Velusamy (50) of Pudukottai, a petty trader, was fatally knocked down by a bus owned by the Corporation in May 1999. In 2004, the court awarded a compensation of Rs.5.99 lakh to the bereaved family.
