‘Correct mistakes in G.O. 73’

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union has demanded rectification of ‘mistakes’ in G.O. 73 on transfer of non-local teachers to their native districts, under G.O. 610. In a statement issued here on Friday, it said that the mistakes include ‘wrong’ identification of teachers additionally appointed during 2000-03 DSCs and also non-local based on ‘wrong’ rostrum-cum- merit lists. The statement alleged that some teachers transferred in the past have been shown as dead and even those promoted included in the G.O.
