Water level

MADURAI: The level in the Periyar dam on Friday stood at 130.60 feet (full level 136 feet) with an inflow of 876 cusecs and a discharge of 1,691 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 49.77 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 1,164 cusecs and a discharge of 1891 cusecs.

The combined Periyar credit stood at 6,771 mcft. The Periyar dam recorded 4 mm of rainfall.
