HYDERABAD: Superintendents of Police of six districts were among the 20 IPS officers transferred by the State Government on Friday. The new SPs of districts are : Shankha Brata Bagchi (Kurnool), B. Malla Reddy (Nellore), P.V.S. Ramakrishna (Ranga Reddy), B. Balakrishna (West Godavari), D. Ramakrishnaiah (Krishna) and V. Naveen Chand (Prakasam). Among them, Mr. Malla Reddy was earlier SP of Kurnool. The reshuffle also saw an SP of Special Intelligence Bureau T. Prabhakar Rao taking over from Mr. Balakrishna as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, East Zone, Hyderabad. The new postings of other officers are : A.V. Narayana (Additional Director, AP Police Academy), Anjani Kumar (Deputy Inspector General, Intelligence), K. Raja Ratnam Naidu (DIG, Nizamabad), V.R.K. Mohan Rao (DIG, Vigilance and Enforcement), N. Suryanarayana (AIG, Law and Order), Rajiv Kumar Meena (AIG, Administration), Swathi Lakra (Commandant, 1st Battalion, APSP), K. Lakshmi Reddy (Commandant, 8th Battalion, APSP), A.S. Gurappa (SP, CID), M. Jaganmohan Reddy (SP, Intelligence), Murgesh Kumar Singh (SP, VIP Security), Shahnawaz Qasim (ASP, Kothagudem) and Vineet Brijlal (Group Commander, Greyhounds).
