Central Bank’s festive season offer

MUMBAI: Central Bank of India has reduced the interest rates by 50 basis points on loans for the festive season. The rates are effective from October 1 to December 31, 2007, says a release. The rate for home loans will range from 9 per cent to 10.75 per cent, depending on the period and the quantum of loan. Similarly, it will be offering concessional rate of interest on vehicle and consumer loans, adds the release.
