Encroachments cleared

BANGALORE: Bangalore Bruhat Mahanagara Palike authorities on Thursday cleared unauthorised petty shops on 9th Cross, Jayanagar 2nd Block, coming under Ward 50 of Basavanagudi Sub-division. This was done following a complaint filed by a person regarding the inconvenience caused to the public as the footpaths had been encroached. The authorities also closed down three shops on 8th Cross, Jayanagar 2nd Block, for violation of rules. — Staff Reporter
