Tumour removed

BANGALORE: A tumour weighing over five kg was removed from the stomach of Sakamma, a resident of Srirampura, by H.N. Gangalakshmi, Superintendent of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike’s Srirampuram Referral Hospital. According to a release, Sakamma was admitted to the hospital two days ago after she complained of severe stomachache. On diagnosis, the doctor found that a tumour near the uterus was causing the pain. The tumour was removed and the patient is out of danger, the release said. — Staff Reporter
