The Hindu-Eenadu Lifestyle Show to begin on October 11

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Hindu –Eenadu Lifestyle show, a consumer retail fare, is now being extended to Visakhapatnam. The largest consumer fair in South India will kick-start from October 11 at the Andhra University Engineering College ground. The five-day extravaganza is intended to give a one-stop shopping experience to the consumers, said Deputy General Manager (Marketing) of The Hindu Supratik Dutta at the pre-launch press conference here on Saturday.

“This year the show will be held in nine cities. We have already held the shows in Chennai, Madurai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and New Delhi and now we will be having here and Bangalore, Coimbatore and Kochi, will follow,” he said.

Ch. Emmanuel of Eenadu said that this was the third year in succession The Hindu- Eenadu Lifestyle show was being organised in Andhra Pradesh. Venkatesh Prasad of I-Rest Body Care Equipment, said . “Over 40,000 people could get a feel of our product and this is the uniqueness of the show, as people can just walk-in and experience the product.”

Kailas V. Savant of SFP Sons, said that by participating in The Hindu –Eenadu Lifestyle show their marketing perceptions have been changed. D. Anantha Ram of Samsung, Anand of Pioneer Marketing and Ananth Ramakrishna of Agrigold also spoke.

The other co-sponsor is General Motors. The show will be held under two air-conditioned hangars spanning over 55,000 sq ft of floor space. There would be over 220 stalls with 120 participants and the range varies from consumer electronics to banking and insurance and from home appliances to real estate. The whole event is being managed by Icare Communication and the channel partners are NDTV 24x7 and Etv2. The hospitality partner is Taj Residency, light partner is K-Lite, travel partner- Paramount Airways and radio partner is 93.5 SFM.

There would be adequate arrangement for parking and the show would be open from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. with a charge of Rs. 20 per head. Arrangements have been made for food courts also.

A fashion show was organised on Saturday at Taj Residency as a curtain raiser for the show.
