Cardiac lab planned at MCH

KOZHIKODE: A cardiac laboratory will be set up at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital by the Hospital Development Committee at a cost of Rs.3 crore.

This was decided at a meeting of the committee, presided over by District Collector A. Jayathilak, who is the chairman of HDC, here on Saturday. A sum of Rs.1 crore will be provided by the committee for setting up the lab and it will avail of a bank loan for the remaining amount.

The meeting was attended by A. Pradeep Kumar and P.M.A. Salam, MLAs; Mayor M. Bhaskaran; and Medical College Principal P.V. Ramachandran.
