Celebration time



Festive: The Ganesh idol installed near the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus stand in Hassan for over a month being taken out in a procession for immersion on Saturday. Cultural troupes followed the procession, in which many people participated. The procession, which started at 9 a.m. from the bus stand, took seven hours to reach Devikere, where it was immersed.
