Nation-wide veena recital

CHENNAI: The Veena Foundation will carry out the wish of its departed founder-president L. M. Singhvi of a nation-wide veena recital on Vijayadasami Day, falling on October 21, to create a synchronised string harmony in North Indian and South Indian traditions, symbolic of human harmony. In a condolence message, Foundation secretary general V. Raghurama Ayyar appealed to all veena artists to join the ‘veenarpana’, scheduled for 6.30 p.m. on that day.
