PUDUCHERRY: The seamen residing in Puducherry and their family members on Saturday formed an association to initiate welfare measures for their children. R.K.R. Anantharaman, MLA, formally launched the association unveiling its signboard at a function in Veerampattinam. Arun Saxena, Commanding Officer, Coast Guard station in Puducherry, and T. Anandan, chairman, Ariankuppam commune panchayat president, participated.
