Impart knowledge with dedication, teachers told

NAMAKKAL: Teachers should impart knowledge to their students with commitment and dedication, Deputy Speaker of State Assembly V.P. Duraisamy has said.

Participating at the Teachers Day celebrations organised by the district administration at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School (Namakkal South) here on Friday, he stressed that teachers should be committed to the best and highest traditions of learning. They should ensure effectiveness in the teaching and learning processes and motivate the students to take part in the nation-building exercise. They should play a major role in shaping the students as responsible citizens of the country.

He said that the celebration was organised to recognize the selfless services of teachers and their great contribution to society.
