One killed, three injured in accident

KASARAGOD: One person was killed and three others were injured when a car ran out of control and rammed a compound wall at Kallumkettu, near Cherkkala in the district on Sunday at 5.30 a.m.

The police identified the deceased as Sadananda, 48, a native of Sullyapadava. He was driving the car.

The injured were Sulaiman, 19, a resident of Puthoor; Rafiq, 21, a resident of Nandikkal and Mustafa, 21, a resident of Sullya.

The car was going to Puthoor after distributing newspaper at Kasaragod and Cherkkala. The injured have been admitted to a cooperative hospital at Chenkala near Cherkkala.
