YSR assures teachers on transfer issue

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy has assured the Andhra Pradesh Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union that their spouses would be exempted while effecting transfers under GO 610. P. Venkat Reddy, president, and P. Ravikiran, general secretary, said here on Sunday that Dr. Reddy gave the assurance after a delegation of the union called on him. Among those who met him were B. Mohan Reddy, MLC and others. –Special Correspondent
