Sachin Rana excels

NEW DELHI: An all-round performance by Sachin Rana (90 not out and three for 29) powered Ram Pal Academy to an eight-wicket victory over All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in the pre-quarterfinals of the 17th Shahid Bhagat Singh memorial cricket tournament at the Nehru Stadium here.

The scores: AIIMS 177 for eight in 35 overs (Rajeev Uniyal 75) lost to Ram Pal Academy 181 for two in 29 overs (Sachin Rana 90 not out, Charanjeet Singh 80 not out).
