Thiruvananthapuram: The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) will organise ‘Film Bazaar India ‘07’ at the 38th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa from November 24 to 26. An official press release here on Monday said that the idea behind film bazaar is to provide a platform for prospective buyers and sellers of film rights from India and abroad. The Business Lounge organised by the NFDC, open to all content owners and buyers, would help prospective buyers and sellers interact in a business like ambience. The delegates of the film bazaar would be given access to the IFFI. A co-production market organised simultaneously would offer select directors/producers the opportunity to present their feature film projects (in all languages and at any stage of production) to co-producers, bankers, funds, sales agents, distributors, television stations, buyers and other potential financiers from India and abroad. Films at all stages of production (from pre-production to post-production) could be entered in the co-production market. The last date for entry of projects in the co-production market was October 15.
