Recharging his batteries
Mohanlal is back in Kozhikode. Barely three months after shooting for ‘Alibhai,’ the gifted actor is back in the city for Sibi Malayil’s new film, ‘Flash.’ On Tuesday, there was quite a crowd at Hotel Malabar Palace to get a glimpse of Mohanlal.
The situation was hardly different at Beypore and a few other places in and around Kozhikode when the superstar shot for ‘Alibhai.’ Large number of spectators would wait patiently just to see him smile or wave his hands at them.
“It is because of their love that we are talking now,” he had told this writer after greeting his fans during the shooting of ‘Alibhai’. “When I hear them call me ‘Laletta,’ it is like I get the energy to recharge my batteries.”
‘Flash’ brings Mohanlal and Sibi Malayil together after long gap.
The last time they had teamed up for a film was ‘Devadoothan,’ way back in 2001. Their more memorable films include ‘Kireedom,’ ‘Sadayam,’ ‘Bharatham,’ ‘His Highness Abdulla’ and ‘Kamaladalam.’
