Peace Boat in Kochi today

Peace Boat will reach Kochi on Wednesday. The boat will have around 1000 Japanese on board.

Representatives of the vessel had called on Kochi Mayor Mercy Williams in their effort to build partnerships with city Mayors as part of the peace initiative. The vessel will be berthed at the Q 6 berth of the Ernakulum Port.

Ms. Williams and a few women councillors will visit the vessel at 4.30 p.m.

The passengers on the vessel will spend time on learning Yoga and will also play a football match at Parade ground, Fort Kochi, at 3.30 p.m.
