Six injured in clash

KURNOOL: Six persons sustained knife injuries when two groups clashed at Pedda Devalapuram in Bandi Atmakur mandal of Kurnool district on Tuesday. According to reports, members of Sugali community belonging to scheduled tribes and upper caste families clashed with knives in the village over a property dispute. Six persons sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital at Nandyal.

The police proceeded to the village following information and sought for additional troops to control the situation.
