CHENNAI: ebm-NADI International Pvt. Ltd., a 51:49 joint venture company between ebm-papst group of Germany, a manufacturer of industrial fans, and NADI Airtechnics, has inaugurated a warehouse in Erukkencherry, around eight km from Chennai. J. B. Kamdar, Managing Director, ebm- NADI, told reporters here on Tuesday that the 36,000 sq. ft. facility had a capacity of 1,000 pallets and involved an investment of Rs. 5.60 crore. Mr. Kamdar said ebm-NADI would expand its existing production capabilities here and set up a manufacturing unit in two years’ time. The new plant would require an investment of around Rs. 25 crore into land, building and machinery, he said. The product range of the company included axial fans, motorised impellers, motors, centrifugal blowers and compact fans, Mr. Kamdar said.
