Sania crashes out

VIENNA: Sania Mirza crashed out of the WTA Kremlin Cup in the first round going down 6-3, 6-4 to Argentine Gisela Dulko in Moscow on Monday.

The 29th ranked Indian could not find her bearings and went out of the $2,340,000 Tier I tournament in an hour and 15 minutes.

Bopanna-Rochus advance

Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Belgium’s Oliver Rochus of Belgium beat Thomas Johansson of Sweden and Todd Perry of Australia 6-2, 6-7(4), 10-8 in the first round of the Stockholm Open.
