Rectify lacunae in implementation of GO 73, says MLC

Staff Reporter

Sangareddy: Member of Legislative Council R. Satyanarayana, in a press note issued here on Tuesday demanded the Government to rectify certain issues that have become hindrance in the implementation of the Government order 73. Explaining the reasons he pointed out that only 145 non local teachers out of the 246 identified under GO 610 and transferred to their native places have actuality left the district. He demanded the Government to set right the process of transfer by giving priority to those who volunteered to leave than to those who are resisting to leave due to various reasons. He attributed the delay in the implementation to cases where both the husband and wife working in the district and only one them has been transferred under the GO, lack of sufficient data in case of 97 teachers and those 25 teachers who were unable to join in their native places due to lack of records on the other end.
