An all-India Nau Sainik camp commenced on Monday at the Naval Maritime Academy under the command of A.S. Baghel. A total of 420 boys and 170 girls from the senior divisions, picked from 17 directorates across India, will attend the camp. The 12-day camp comprises activities like boat pulling, sailing, ship modelling semaphore, firing drill and pulling regatta. The best cadet and best ANO competition will be held on Sunday. The finals will be witnessed by Director General of NCC on October 18. The cadets will experience a day at sea on October 12 and 15 and will visit Simhachalam temple, Naval Dockyard and Submarine museum.
