Man knocked down by lorry, driver arrrested

TIRUCHI: A motorcycle rider was fatally knocked down by a lorry on the Tiruchi–Dindigul National Highway at Vijayanagaram on Monday.

Police sources said C. Vijayakumar, the motorcycle rider, died on the spot when the lorry dashed against the vehicle.

Lorry driver S. Sathish (22) was arrested. The Ramji Nagar police have registered a case.
