Panel discusses estate issues

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Cabinet subcommittee dealing with alleged encroachments and lease deed violations of Harrisons Malayalam Limited inconclusively discussed the legal implications of proposed action against the company on Tuesday. Minister for Revenue K. P. Rajendran, Minister for Forest Binoy Viswam, Minister for Law M. Vijayakumar and Minister for Fisheries and Registration S. Sarma, Law Secretary attended the meeting. It was decided that legal aspects should be examined before initiating any action on the basis of the report of the Principal Secretary (Revenue).
