Manmohan to visit Nigeria, South Africa

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit Nigeria and South Africa from this Sunday to attend the summit meeting of India-Brazil-South Africa troika in Johannesburg.

Pointing out that this was the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria, India’s largest trading partner in Africa, since the stopover by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1962, Secretary (West) in the External Affairs Ministry, Nalin Surie, said he expected several agreements to be signed.
