VISAKHAPATNAM: Tamil Nadu recorded an innings victory over Kerala but it was Rohan Prem of Kerala who took the final day’s honours for a gallant innings of 88 (14x4, 1x6) in the South Zone under-22 (C.K. Nayudu Trophy) tournament at the ACA-VDCA Stadium here on Tuesday. Prem added 74 for the last wicket with M.P. Manu who contributed just one. The pair resisted the Tamil Nadu bowlers for nearly 19 overs on the final day after resuming at 102 for nine. Tamil Nadu leads the table with nine points, including the six it gained on Tuesday, followed by Hyderabad (7), Karnataka (4), Andhra and Goa (two each) and Kerala (nil). The scores: Tamil Nadu 418 for seven decl. bt Kerala 185 and 176 in 51.4 overs (Rohan Prem 88, Raiphy Vincent Gomez 43, W. Victor four for 22, R. Ashwin three for 51). — Special Correspondent
