Highlighting demands of freedom fighters

PUDUCHERRY: The movement to protect the welfare of the people who fought for the liberation of Puducherry from the French colonial rule and the territory’s merger with India staged a protest here on Wednesday to highlight the demands of the freedom fighters.

Carrying the national tricolour, activists of the movement assembled near the Kamaraj statue. The activists raised slogans to highlight their demands.
