THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Budding tennis talents of the Army School, Pangode will be trained at the Pangode Tennis Club here. The newly-formed club at the 91 Infantry Brigade also proposes to organise an annual tennis tournament so as to promote the game among the youth in the city. In the meanwhile, Sandra Social Circle, the community wing of the State Bank of Travancore, has donated 50 racquets to the club. The racquets were handed over by the SBT Assistant General Manager, V. Prabhakaran Nair to the Army School principal, Sasikala Vijayan, at a function held at the club premises, the other day. The trainees of the club will be coached by former State champion and ITF coach, M.R. Ramesh. — Special Correspondent
