Goel drives Blueline

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Taking the law into his hands to prove a point, former Union Minister Vijay Goel drove a “Special Blueline” bus from Ashok Road to the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence here on Wednesday.

Mr. Goel was protesting against “the reign of terror that the killer fleet has unleashed on the Capital’s roads” despite several attempts by the Government to rein them in.

“The Government is lacking in sensitivity and is immune to the ordinary and poor commuters. There has been a delay in purchase of new buses and there is no check on the existing ones. Along with the State Government, even the State Transport Authority is to be blamed,” said Mr. Goel.
