Shops inspected

KOCHI: City Corporation officials on Wednesday inspected 140 commercial establishments falling under the civic body’s health circle 21 as part of the drive to enforce the ban on plastic with thickness below 30 microns. Significantly, no banned plastic items were detected in any of these establishments, a release issued by Mayor Mercy Williams said. — Staff Reporter
