Health adalat on October 26

Thiruvananthapuram: The Health Department will hold an adalat in order to clear long-pending files pertaining to various issues in the department.
The adalat to be held on October 26 and 27 will be led by Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy along with Health Secretary Vishwas Mehta and Director of Health Services T.K. Kuttamani.
The department hopes to clear some 2,500 files on various issues which have been pending for a long time.
Separate cells have been formed at the Secretariat and the Health Services Directorate for the purpose.
Several teams of officials have been formed to source the necessary reports and government order on various topics and to prepare the files district-wise and subject-wise.
