RSS denies Kumaraswamy’s claim

Bangalore: With reference to the interview with the former Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, published in The Hindu dated October 10, the zonal secretary of the Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) from Bangalore, K. Narahari, writes:

“I repudiate whatever ex-Chief Minister Sri Kumaraswamy has said about his meeting with RSS leaders on the late night of Sunday about the ‘pact’ to which he has referred in your newspaper under the headline ‘I rejected RSS bid to rework pact.’

“It is far from truth, because no functionary of our organisation has met him on that day in this regard. It is very sad and does not speak well of a responsible person who was the State Chief Minister to indulge in such baseless utterances and unnecessarily dragging in the name of our organisation in the ongoing political turmoil.”
