The holy month of Ramazan is coming to an end with political parties, organisations and individuals hosting Iftars, in Kozhikode. The Iftars are always well-attended. An Iftar hosted by script writer T.A. Razak at his residence was attended by lyricist Kaithapram, singer Shahbaz Aman and actor Abu Salim. “I did not mean this to be just another Iftar,” said Razak who had penned the screenplays for films like ‘Perumazhakkalam,’ ‘Ghoshayathra’ and ‘Kanakkinavu.’ “This is a cultural meeting too, as well as a symbol of religious harmony,” he said.
