Team of doctors to inspect two Chennai hospitals

CHENNAI: The Health Department on Thursday ordered a team of doctors to inspect the records of two city hospitals, following the recent arrest of a nephrologist.

Taking suo motu action based on newspaper reports of the arrest of Dr. Palani Ravichandran, for promoting the sale of organs, the Health Minister sent a team of three doctors to Barathiraja Specialities Hospital and St.Thomas Hospital.
