Pension for medical practitioners

BANGALORE: The Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy has invited applications from practitioners of Indian medicine, for providing them with a monthly pension of Rs. 250. The directorate will honour six practitioners of Indian medicine — three from Ayurveda system, one each from Unani, Homeopathy, and nature cure system — for the year 2007-08. The applicant should be a registered medical practitioner in any of these system aged 60 and above. The last date for submission of application is October 30. Details may be obtained from the Director, Ayush Department, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy, Dhanvantari Road, Bangalore. — Staff Reporter
