Hadapad Award

N. Marishamachar
Bangalore: The Ken School of Art has selected sculptor and painter N. Marishamachar for its annual Hadapad Award for 2007.
The award has been instituted after the renowned painter and the former Principal of the Ken School of Art R.M. Hadapad for 2007.
Mr. Marishamachar, an alumni of the Ken School of Art and Baroda’s Faculty of Fine Arts, is known for his expertise in painting, sculpture and graphic medium. His works displayed at various exhibitions at the national level have earned accolades.
He has bagged many prestigious art awards, including those instituted by the Delhi-based Indian Fine Arts and Craft Society, Karnataka Lalitkala Academy and the Chitrakala Parishat.
The award will be presented to him on November 23 in Bangalore, a release said.
