Lekha remains in ‘Kettavan’

Silambarasan with Lekha Washington.

Actor Silambarasan’s films tend to get spoken about for one reason or the other. This time, it is about the possible removal of heroine Lekha Washington from ‘Kettavan.’ The unit, however, denies this information.

When contacted, Simbu said they had finished nearly 40 per cent of the film. “There is no change now. I am going to work for ‘Kalai’ from October 15, and then I may leave for the U.S. with Yuvan Shankar Raja for composition of songs in ‘Kettavan.’

Lekha Washington, too, denied that there was a change in heroine. “Simbu is a wonderful person and also a brilliant actor-director. We have done some solid work for the film ‘Kettavan’ in and around Chennai. I play a Brahmin girl in the film.”
